Doug has been involved in the sale of many businesses, including auto, motorcycle, and manufacturing companies.Prior to entering the field of business sales, Doug spent over 30 years in the Automobile industry with 10 new car franchises and employing over 1,000 people.The last 10 years he has served as a consultant, trainer, and lecturer to the auto and advertising industries. Doug has served on the advisory boards for Ford, Lincoln-Mercury and General Motors. Doug and his family reside in Houston, TX.

The Sunbelt team was very saddened by the recent passing of Doug Wisdom, one of the longtime, highly regarded brokers in our West Houston office. Before his successful 11 year tenure as a Sunbelt Broker, Doug worked in the automotive industry owning, managing and consulting at dealerships throughout the United States.
During his time with Sunbelt Doug developed close relationships with his seller clients and buyers as he supported both throughout the transaction process. He worked across multiple industries and each client was as important as the next. Doug was always very direct, but sure to show appreciation to all parties involved.
Doug was married to his wife Jann for 50 years. They had three children and four grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by them and all of us at Sunbelt.
