Mr. Moncada has extensive business experience and a high degree of success in several areas. He has been recognized by a National Association as one of the highest producing brokers in the United States with closed transactions in excess of $114,000,000 in one calendar year.
In the early 1990's, he managed a division of Prudential California Realty in southern California which was later acquired by Warren Buffet on behalf of Berkshire Hathaway. Past clients include Allen Paulson, Founder of Gulfstream Aerospace, known for its?G series luxury private jets. Mr. Moncada personally managed In excess of $100,000,000 in real estate holdings for Mr. Paulson throughout the United States.
He has represented Joan Kroc, late wife of Ray Kroc, the Founder of McDonald?s, Kirk Kerkorian, CEO and owner of MGM film studios and MGM Casinos. Heb Boyer, Founder of Genentech and one of the discoverers of the world?s first recombinant DNA organism. Others included the Welk Family and the Welk Resort in Escondido California, Bill Gates, purchaser of property inside of Del Mar Country Club Estates.
Mr. Moncada has vast knowledge in the development and marketing of golf course communities in southern California. After a successful stay at Prudential California Realty and Prudential Pickford Realty, Mr. Moncada set out on his own and represented Allen Paulson, the Founder of Gulfstream Aerospace in the acquisition of Heritage Hills CC from Bank of America and Bank of the West. Mr. Paulson renamed the club Del Mar Country Club. Moncada served as Director of Sales and Marketing and was the Broker of Record.
After selling out Del Mar Country Club, Mr. Moncada was hired by Lennar Homes to run their first luxury development, The Bridges in Rancho Santa Fe as Director of Sales and Marketing and Broker of Record. Several years later, after a very successful run, Moncada sold his real estate company to Lennar Homes.
Mr. Moncada, with his partner, purchased sub-performing pharmacies throughout the United States from CVs Pharmacies in 2002 and added additional locations. Within three years of those initial acquisitions, merged with Moms Pharmacy, based in New York State and went public in March 2005. The company was actively traded on the NASDAQ.
While attending Baylor University on a full four-year tennis scholarship, he earned recognition as a top rank collegiate. While In high school, he won 2 junior state tennis titles in Texas, one in singles and one in doubles.
